A self-confessed real-estate geek, Barry spent 2 ½ decades working for newspapers and magazines around the country and was part of the team that created leading sports websites ESPN.com and SportingNews.com. He went to school at the University of Kentucky and lived in Lexington, Ky., Cleveland, Knoxville, Tenn., Houston, Seattle and St. Louis before falling in love with Charlotte, N.C., and a native Charlottean, Jenn. He is a husband and stepfather of triplets (Addison, Camden and Colin) and a puppy (Calvin) and lives for his family, home renovation, a great ballgame and much, much more.
